Ibotta is a cash back app. What that means is you can earn money back on your purchases after you have left the store. Each week Ibotta offers cash back offers on specific products. These are unique to each store. You earn up to $20 just for signing up! I’m gonna walk you through it.
After you have added the Ibotta app to your phone. Search retailers by typing in Publix in the search bar, or there may be a quick link you can just tap on the Publix icon.
Search through the available Publix rebates. I’m gonna walk you thru submitting the a rebate. Chose the offer by clicking on it. There is a plus sign with a cirlce on the offer, click that to add it to your offers, you have to add the offer before submitting your receipt to the app.

Then once you have purchased the item click the “redeem” button at the bottom of the offer’s screen. I like to do this as I load the groceries in the car, for a few reasons. First, I have everything I need right there to redeem the offer. Second, because without warning sometimes
Some offers you can take advantage of multiple times, some offers you can only redeem once.
As you can see with the picture to the right, the Aveeno offer says ” limit 5″ which means you can redeem it 5 times. There is no ” limit” on the salad dressing offer so you can only do it once.
A camera will pop up to take pictures of your receipt. Line up the edges of your receipt with the red lines on the side of the screen. tap the center button to focus the picture.
You have to take a picture of the ENTIRE receipt top to bottom. If you need another picture click ” add section” if your receipt is short and you just need one picture to capture it all click ” finish”.
At the top of the screen it shows you where you left off on the receipt so you can line up the next section
The next screen will confirm your purchases and credits, You may be asked to verify something by scanning the product barcode.

At the top of the app, you can see your total, once your total accrues to $20 or more you can ” cash out”
You can transfer the money to your bank, Paypal or purchase gift cards.
